A competitive athlete in high school and college, Jim understands what it takes to establish goals and developing the necessary strategies to cross the finish line.
Jim has competed as a soccer player, wrestler, martial artist, and runner. His success on the playing field, arena, dojo, or running trail has lead him to further develop his passion for helping people succeed in their fitness endeavors. His fitness clients come from a diversified background, from athletes to special populations, with the age range between 6 years old to 82 years old.
Jim has participated in many running races from 5K�s to Marathons and has successfully trained some of his fitness clients to complete in 5K, 10K, Half-Marathon, and Marathon races.
Jim graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina. He has worked as a personal trainer for over seven years and is certified through NSCA as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and ISSA as a Certified Fitness Trainer. Also, he is certified in CPR and AED through the American Heart Association.

Scott Bateman, CSCS

Scott is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength & Conditioning Association, and is CPR/AED certified through the American Heart Association. He plans to pursue certification through the NSCA as a Certified Personal Trainer in the near future. Scott graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication.
Scott has a competitive background in several sports, notably basketball and cross country. He has run several full and half marathons, and has worked with others to help them prepare for races of these distances. Scott also has over 10 years of resistance training experience and has trained others in this respect as well.
Scott believes that exercising and improving one's fitness can be extremely rewarding, and can lead to success and happiness in other areas of your life. Although the transition to a healthier lifestyle can be challenging, Scott knows that he can help you achieve your goals...and have some fun along the way!
